Fundation for Quality Education

The Foundation for Quality Education was established in 2014. Its founder was the Polish-American Freedom Foundation (PAFF). The goals of the Foundation for Quality Education (FQE) are:

  • supporting and promoting the development of education
  • working towards improving the quality of education, the quality of new and in-service teacher training
  • the professionalization and increasing the prestige of the teaching profession
  • supporting educational leaders
  • providing equal educational opportunities to children and young people

The FQE’s main undertaking is a postgraduate program for future teachers – the School of Education of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and University of Warsaw.

At the School of Education, we conduct postgraduate studies for teachers in four subject areas: Polish language, history, and social science, biology, and mathematics.

Our primary goal is supporting and promoting the development of education and professional development of pre-service and in-service teachers. We also organize training courses for teachers, as well as online seminars and webinars. We conduct research and educational projects and cooperate with many partners from Poland and abroad. Our study program was created with the support of Teachers College Columbia University – one of the best teachers’ education centers in the world.
